LOCALLY OWNED AND OPERATED
Deep Springs Home Health is deeply rooted in the community we serve.
In what areas are your services available?
We provide services throughout Putnam, White, Van Buren, Warren and Dekalb Counties.
What services does Deep Springs Home Health offer?
We provide personal support services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through the Home and Community-Based Waivers, the Tennessee Early Intervention System (TEIS), the Katie Beckett Program, ECH CHOICES/CHOICES and other programs. These programs aim to offer a range of services that support individuals and families to achieve optimal development and prepare them for independence, employment, and community engagement.
We also provide services and support for adults over 60 and adults with physical disabilities through Home and Community-Based Services, OPTIONS for Community Living, the State Health Insurance Assistance Program, Nutrition Services, and other initiatives. These programs promote health, dignity, independence, and security and are managed by the state’s nine Area Agencies on Aging and Disability under the Department of Disability and Aging (DDA).
Are your caregivers direct employees or contractors?
All of our caregivers are direct employees of Deep Springs Home Health—not contractors. This ensures a consistent level of care, accountability, and alignment with our values and standards.
Are your caregivers screened?
Providing safe, trusted care for our clients requires thoroughly vetting all staff through comprehensive county, state and federal background checks including fingerprinting, professional references, driving records, and in-person interviews. Our caregivers also undergo regular written training and performance assessments on updated care standards.
How do you ensure the quality and safety of your clients?
We ensure the quality and safety of our clients through comprehensive measures, including rigorous caregiver training programs, thorough background checks, random in-home inspections conducted by leadership staff, and ongoing professional development for all team members. Additionally, we also adhere strictly to regulatory health protocols to ensure the well-being of our clients.
How are care plans developed and customized?
Care plans are developed by the circle of support and the person supported through the Person-Centered Planning Process. These plans are documented in the Individual’s Support Plan (ISP) or Person-Centered Support Plan (PCSP) and tailored to their unique needs, preferences, and health conditions. We collaborate with families, support networks, and healthcare providers to ensure these plans are effective and comprehensive, fostering better-quality lives through active social roles, community connections, enhanced planning, and independent decision-making.
Are your services available 24/7?
Yes, our services are available around the clock. We provide 24/7 support to ensure that our clients receive the care they need whenever they need it.
