All caregivers and Direct Support Professionals (DSP) are required to meet the following criteria to be eligible for employment.

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Have a reliable means of transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Staff who have direct contact with or direct responsibility for the service recipient must be able to effectively read, write, and communicate verbally in English, as well as understand instructions, perform records-keeping, and write reports
• Applicants must be willing to undergo a thorough vetting process, including comprehensive county, state, and federal background checks, as well as fingerprinting, professional reference verification, and driving record reviews.
